Lean Construction Institute

This nonprofit organization was founded in 1997 with a focus on promoting and teaching Lean principles for the design and construction industry.  While LCI-U.S. focused on application within the country, they provide leadership on community for other functioning LCI-similar organizations across the globe, including LDCC. Of particular interest for all contributing members of the built environment supply chain including builders and designers.

Lean Construction Blog

Founded in 2015, their mission is to democratize and advance Lean Construction around the world. This is known as the most industry relevant and significant body of knowledge accessible to the global community as it relates to the built environment.

Lean Enterprise Institute

Founded in 1997 as a nonprofit organization with a mission to advance Lean thinking and practice around the world universally across all industries and sectors. Of particular interest for those working on corporate and enterprise application of Lean.

International Group for Lean Construction

Founded in 1993 and annually active as an international network of researchers from both practice and academia.  Their aim is to radically renew the practice, education and research surrounding Lean in order to respond to global challenges. Of particular interest for leaders, Lean coaches and academics seeking understanding of the next generation of advancement for the built environment.

Project Production Systems LaboratorY

P2SL was founded in 2005 at UC Berkeley, formed and dedicated to developing and deploying knowledge and tools supporting the management of projects for this industry through action research. Of particular interest for leaders, Lean coaches and academics seeking understanding of the next generation of advancement for the built environment.
